Financial Analyst | Prudential Financial | Hartford, CT

This position is responsible for the pricing and financial underwriting of new business full-service retirement products (DB/DC/NQ) for the assigned region(s) and segment(s).

Daily responsibilities include:
  • Developing case-level pricing strategies that balance financial values with sound business judgment.
  • Collaborating with sales partners on strategy and positioning of fees.
  • Presenting recommendations to senior management.
  • Participation in weekly strategy sessions with senior management and sales.
  • Partnering with RFP team to create answers to pricing or financial-related questions.
  • Interacting with transition and operations to ensure a successful plan setup.
  • Interacting with internal business partners to determine the feasibility and financial impacts of providing non-standard services or custom service models for jumbo prospects.
  • Interacting with prospects and intermediaries as needed.
  • Involvement in project teams to provide financial analysis and expertise.
  • Supporting miscellaneous projects.

A successful individual in this role will partner with members of the selling team and internal business partners to develop creative solutions that achieve growth, profitability and risk management objectives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience with full-service retirement products (DC/DB/NQ).
  • Required skills include: strong analytical, verbal and written communication, partnering, influencing, and time management skills.
  • ASA/MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.
